About Naim
Since our creation in 1973, we've managed to stay ahead of the trends and rely above all on our idea of what makes the best music system in a listening room. In this way, we have always respected our convictions while offering a unique range of products.
WHY NAIM ?
Every Naim product is conceived, designed, and engineered entirely in service of the sound, revealing a pure experience of music that is as close as possible to its original source.
We believe that the exploration of sound is an adventure that rewards you with a clarity and connection that becomes more powerful the deeper you travel within it. Which is why, every element within our systems is crafted to create a silence around the sound, reducing any interference between you and the music. We achieve this through tireless attention to four fundamentals in our engineering:
1. SPACE
We give each of the critical components their own environment, omitting outside or ‘toxic’ interference, which means no compromise on the purity of sound.
2. CIRCUITRY
We minimise any interplay between the internal levels, so that you can simultaneously enjoy both the quiet and the loud, as originally intended.
3. PURPOSEFUL MATERIALITY
We use materials that excel in performance, not just appearance. Our founder, Julian Vereker, realised the benefits of using aluminium to protect our electronic components from magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations, and unwanted vibrations.
4. TECHNOLOGY
We constantly strive for new and innovative ways to achieve our goals, integrating sophisticated electronic design and software development, with mechanical engineering and acoustics to deliver a truly advanced sonic experience.

MADE IN ENGLAND
Almost all Naim products are hand-assembled by our experts in our Salisbury workshop. Different ranges have dedicated production and finishing areas structured around manufacturing and control 'cells'. Each cell builds a product from start to finish, using state-of-the-art equipment and tools. The processes created by our R&D teams ensure that every product is made to exacting standards. At Naim, the big and small details aggregate to create the 'voice of Naim'.
BUILT TO LAST
Unlike most other consumer electronics, Naim Audio products are not designed to be replaced every three to four years. Choosing a Naim Audio product is an investment for many years of incredible musical experiences.

We can still repair almost every product we’ve ever made in our service and restoration department. Our skilled technicians are some of our most experienced, with the know-how to breathe life into classic Naim Audio equipment. They regularly restore some of our first hi-fi products, ready to provide another 30 years of musical enjoyment.

UPGRADABLE PERFORMANCE
Once you’ve chosen Naim Audio, you may crave even more of the musical performance our products deliver. The good news is that there is usually an upgrade path that will allow you to attain the next level of performance without purchasing a completely new system. That could be as simple as upgrading to a Power-Line mains cable, opting for an additional power supply or even making a move to separate pre and power amplifiers.
